Within the scope of the research core area "modelling and simulation" we announce the workshop "Modelling and Simulation in Sports", taking place at the 22nd of October.
In September 2018, a new book on “Modelling and Simulation in Sport and Exercise” has been published by Routledge Books, Taylor and Francis. The workshop will give a preview on some chapters of this book by the authors about the application of different perspectives of modelling and simulation in different type of sports. The talks will give insight into the modelling of muscles and applications in single and team sports.
This workshop is organized by Markus Tilp and Sigrid Thaller of the Institute of Sports Science.
